Privacy

I'm one person building websites for local businesses. I collect the least I can get away with, I don't sell anything to anyone, and you can ask me to delete it whenever you like.
What I collect
When you message me. The name, email, and message you type into the form on this site. I get it by email and keep a copy so nothing gets lost. Your IP address is recorded with it, which is standard for spam protection.
When you buy. Checkout is handled by Stripe. They collect your name, email, phone number, business name, and payment details. I see everything except your full card number — Stripe holds that, not me. I never see or store your card.
When you browse. My host keeps normal server logs, and I use two analytics tools — Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics — to see which parts of the site people actually use.
About the analytics
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move around this site — clicks, scrolling, and a replay of the session — so I can see what's confusing and fix it. It captures behaviour rather than personal details: anything typed into a form is masked before it reaches Microsoft. What they do with it is in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Google Analytics counts visits and tells me roughly where people arrived from — a search, a link, a text message. It reports totals and trends, not individuals; I can't look up who you are in it. Google's side of it is covered in the Google Privacy Policy.
Both use cookies. If you'd rather not be counted at all, blocking cookies or using your browser's private mode will do it, and the site works exactly the same.
Who else sees your information
- Stripe — payments. Their privacy policy covers what they hold.
- Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics — the site analytics described above.
- My web host — the servers this site and my email run on.
That's the whole list. I don't sell your information, I don't trade it, and I don't hand it to advertisers.
How long I keep it
Enquiries stay in my inbox while there's a reason to keep them. Customer records stick around as long as I need them for tax and accounting. Analytics data expires on Microsoft's and Google's own schedules. If you want your details gone sooner, ask and I'll delete them.
Your choices
Email me and I'll tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No forms, no process — just ask. Blocking cookies in your browser stops the analytics side.
Children
This is a service for businesses. It isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this changes, I'll update the date at the top. Nothing here is retroactive.
